WELCOME

We are glad you stopped by our home on the web. Let us encourage you and your family to stop by on a Sunday morning to meet us in person. Our worship services are at 10:45 AM every Sunday and at 6:00 PM on the first and third Saturdays of each month.

Spend as much time as you need looking through the site, and if there's something we didn't answer, we'd be happy to chat with you by phone or email.

Vacation Bible School is not being held this year instead we will be planning a community picnic with great food and games for all later this summer.  To all our kids and the community watch for future updates.

Butler Area  Flooding Relief Appeal

As many of you have heard, about 150 families were affected by severe flooding in Butler on July 6th and 7, 2017.  Thankfully, no lives were lost in this natural disaster, but many homes have been affected: particularly basements that havebeen filled with mud and debris which in turn affects utilities and appliances that we all rely on.

Our Lutheran congregations were some of the first to respond to this crisis. First English in Butler is currently hosting the Red Cross Emergency Shelter; and with the wonderful network of community based meal programs, basic needs are being met. They are now looking to the long road of clean up and renewal and are asking for our help.

If you are able to help financially, donations can be directed to BERI, the Butler County Emergency ReliefInitiative. Much of the need will be helping families replace furnaces, hotwater tanks, washers and driers. For more information, see https://www.butlerunitedway.org/butler-county-emergency-relief-initiative-beri.

If you would prefer to give to one of our sister congregations, Pastor Tara Lynn, pastor at Grace@Calvary, will direct any funds to those in the congregations and community who need assistance in the effort. Pastor Lynn can best be reached either by email or on her mobile phone (listed below).

Finally, help is requested in the form of volunteers. If you are able to give a few hours of your time to help clean out flooded basements and first floors, the affected families in Butler would greatly appreciate it. The biggest challenge at the moment is cleaning so utilities can be accessed, repaired or replaced.

Visitors Welcome

We are pleased to have you join us in the worship of God today. You would be welcome to become part of our Faith-Family here at Redeemer should you have no permanent church-home in this community. You may see people dressed very casually, in jeans and t-shirts or dresses, either is fine. We are Proud to be a totally handicapped accessible church and all our welcome.  We have a growing Sunday School for the Children and many Children's Activities.  Please sign the guest book in the Narthex and speak to the Pastor after worship, should you have questions about membership. You are most welcome here!

Kids Corner

We have Sunday School during our Sunday Worship Service.  The children have lessons, crafts and various projects.  We always depart with a positive thought and a snack. We have VBS with other churches in our area.  Throughout the year there are children's activities; such as,  Easter and Halloween parties, movie nights, and caroling  through the streets of Monaca.   We also do a weekly event called Wild Wednesdays with our friends over at Grace Lutheran.    It is dinner at 6:00 PM and then singing and off for the kids to learn and have fun.     Many other events are planned.    *** ALL ARE WELCOME***
